Our private antenatal course is designed to give you dedicated time with an experienced antenatal teacher, focusing on the areas that matter most to you as you prepare for birth and early life with twins, triplets or more.

Twins Trust is the UK's leading provider of specialist multiple birth antenatal courses.

Why choose a Twins Trust private antenatal course

A private course can be a good option if a group setting does not feel right for you or if you want more flexibility and focused time on your own questions.

It allows you to tailor the session around your pregnancy - spending more time on areas you feel less confident about, or exploring specific topics in more depth than a group course allows.

Some parents choose this option because of work patterns, timing, distance from in-person courses, or simply because they prefer a more private and tailored learning experience.

Delivered by a trained antenatal teacher with experience in multiple births, it offers supportive, practical guidance focused entirely on your needs.

You can choose online or in-person sessions across Greater London, with flexible scheduling to suit you.

What you'll explore during the course

  • Your private course is tailored to your needs, but can include:

  • What makes a twin or triplet pregnancy different

  • Vaginal and caesarean birth, and what to expect during recovery

  • Preparing for early arrival and neonatal care

  • Essential equipment and practical preparation for home

  • Feeding options including breastfeeding, bottle feeding and combination feeding

  • Caring for twins, triplets or more in the early weeks

  • Newborn sleep and settling

  • Getting out and about with more than one baby

  • Family adjustments, including siblings

Who the course is for

This course is designed for parents expecting twins, triplets or more who want antenatal support tailored to their own circumstances.

It may be especially helpful if you are unable to commit to group course dates due to work, shift patterns or other commitments, or if you do not live close to an in-person course location.

It can also be a good option if you would prefer a more private setting due to previous pregnancy experiences, complications or simply because group learning doesn't feel right for you.

Or you may just want the flexibility to focus on your own questions and spend more time on the topics that matter most to you.

We recommend attending between 20 and 32 weeks of pregnancy to get the most from the course.
