Shauna Leven
Shauna has worked in senior management roles in the charity sector for more than 15 years. She is also a human rights lawyer, a successful campaigner and strategist, but her most important role is mum to boy/girl twins.

Rafi Cooper
Rafi has dedicated his career to communications and marketing within the charity sector. He's worked in the UK and overseas for causes ranging from children to animals to international development. He places stories at the heart of all communications and his two little children are at the heart of his personal story.

Clemmie Field
Having started her career in corporate responsibility, Clemmie has over 15 years experience in fundraising for national UK charities, from childrens' hospitals to education and social mobility causes. As a mum to a little girl and twin boys, Clemmie is passionate about giving families with multiples the best experience from pregnancy to birth and through their parenting journey. As Co-Head of Development, Clemmie feels very lucky to be able to share this role with her long-standing job share partner, Jess McClymont.

Jess McClymont
Jess started her career selling sponsorship packages at a global membership organisation in New York City. When she returned for to the UK in 2013, she started her fundraising career after securing a job as a Corporate Partnership Manager at the Princes Trust. In 2015, Jess moved to the education charity Teach First where she led both the Corporate Partnerships and Supporter Experience teams. In her personal life, Jess is a mum to a little girl and twin boys who keep her on her toes. Twins Trust was a lifeline to Jess in both her pregnancy and early twin parenting days and she feel very excited to be able to use her skills and experience (alongside her job share partner, Clemmie) to support even more parents of multiples at different stages of their journeys.

Louise Bowman
Louise has been working with families her whole career - over 25 years. She completed her NNEB training after leaving school and worked in the childcare sector at a Day Nursery and then as a Private Nanny before moving to work in the charity sector as a Family Support Worker where she continued my training and development. Louise has worked with hundreds of families in need and crisis and facilitated many parenting workshops and courses. She became a mum herself in 2010 and has three daughters (including twins) which inspired her to continue her work with families and offer support where needed. Louise joined Twins Trust in 2013 when her twins were 10 months old as the helpline coordinator. She has a passion for empowering and developing people which is why she loves working here and working with all our volunteers who give their time to us to support the thousands of families each year.

Anna Arnell
Anna Arnell joined Twins Trust as Head of Finance in January 2024, bringing with her over 13 years' experience in commercial finance. She is a mum to boy/girl twins and has been a member of Twins Trust for more than ten years. With both professional expertise and lived experience, Anna is proud to be part of an organisation that makes a real and meaningful difference to families.

Our Family Services team are at the heart of our advice, community and support. Many of them have twins, triplets or more themselves and have decades of experience helping families.

Judi Linney MBE MSc Dip HEd HV
Judi came from South Africa to England and then trained as a nurse, midwife and health visitor and Director of Public Health. She has more than 30 years of extensive experience in providing strategic leadership across NHS, Local Authorities, and Voluntary & Community Groups and working with the media. After giving birth to twin daughters, Judi and her husband Howard recognised the need for information and advice for families of multiples. In 1978, she was a founder member of the Twins Club Association - which developed into Tamba and became Twins Trust in 2019. Judi has written various articles and a book for professionals on managing Multiple Births, and has given presentations nationally and internationally on multiple births. Judi received an MBE at the Queen's Birthday Honours ceremony, for services to healthcare, for her work in the NHS as a Director of public health, for Founding and being the President of Tamba and for developing community relations. Judi is currently an Independent Consultant and Coach and offers advice to community groups.

Simon Berney-Edwards
Read Simon's storySimon is the Chief Executive Officer of the Expert Witness Institute and has ten years’ experience in leadership roles in Membership bodies. He joined the Board in 2018 as the trustee lead for Digital Transformation and became Chair in March 2023. He is father to twins achieved through surrogacy.

Dominic Cashman
Dominic is a director at the Financial Conduct Authority, having previously spent 20 years working in financial services firms. As a Trustee he focuses particularly on risk and governance. Dominic has 15 year old twins and a 13 year old - all boys. Dominic lives in north London and looks forward to a day when he might have time for hobbies.

Rajmeet Bhatti
Rajmeet Bhatti joined Twins Trust as Treasurer in November 2022 and serves as a Trustee. She is Chief of Staff at a global investment management firm and has held a range of finance, strategy and business management roles across the investment industry. Rajmeet is an Associate Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA) and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). A mum to twin boys and a Twins Trust member since 2021, she is passionate about ensuring families of twins, triplets or more get the practical support and advocacy they need.

Rebecca Butler
Rebecca is an experienced Fundraising & Marketing Consultant having held Director roles within the travel industry, NHS and Not For Profit Sector, including The Royal Marsden, The Royal Hospital Chelsea Pensioners, Expedia and British Airways. She is also a volunteer Brownie Guide leader and a mum of two. Rebecca became a trustee in November 2019.

Anita Jewitt
Anita is a Partner and Head of the Medical Negligence department at law firm Stewarts. She has three children, including non-identical twin boys, and has been a member of Twins Trust since 2017. Anita has extensive experience in representing clients who have sustained life changing injuries as a consequence of medical negligence. For most of her career, she has represented children who have sustained a brain injury (e.g. HIE) at the time of their birth. Anita has spoken out on behalf of her clients to help campaign for improvements in patient safety, especially in relation to maternity care. She is recognised as a leading solicitor in this field. Outside of work, Anita loves travelling and spending time with family and friends.

Dr Surabhi Nanda
Surabhi is a Consultant in Maternal Fetal Medicine affiliated to two busy tertiary fetal medicine units in London, and has a special interest in multiple pregnancy. She leads a specialist multidisciplinary multiple pregnancy service in her unit. She is a Fetal Medicine representative of the British Maternal and Fetal Medicine Society. She joined the Board of Trustees in 2019.

Bart Quinton Smith
Bart is Managing Director of First Choice, leading the transformation of a much-loved travel brand in the UK. First Choice is part of TUI Group and Bart is also a member of the TUI UK & Ireland Board. He joined TUI in 2010 as a graduate trainee and moved into leadership roles in commercial, digital and mobile. In 2016 he joined Google as an Industry Manager, working with some of their biggest travel clients on their digital growth and transformation. He returned to TUI in 2018 to head up digital acquisition, before becoming Digital Marketing & CRM Director. In April 2023, Bart and his wife Sam welcomed their son Finnegan, born seven weeks premature but is thriving. Finn is an identical twin, however Bart and Sam sadly lost their son Ace at 17 weeks following TTTS & TAPS and two fetal surgeries to try and save both or one of the twins. Bart and Sam benefited from support from Twins Trust during this very difficult time. Outside of work, he's passionate about travel (obviously), sport and spending as much time as possible with those closest to him.

Katherine Rathbone
Katherine works as head of HR in a global law firm and has over 18 years experience within professional services and construction and engineering organisations. She is mother to three young boys, including twins and has been a member of Twins Trust since 2018. She joined as a trustee in 2022.

Kate Riches
Kate works as a Strategy Director for a global multinational company and has 24 years of experience managing supply chain operations, company transformations and strategic development. Kate is mother of triplet girls and has been a member of Twins Trust since 2011. She joined as a trustee in November 2022.
About our Trustees
Our volunteer trustees oversee the strategic direction of the charity. You can contact them by emailing enquiries@twinstrust.org.
Twins Trust's trustees serve for a fixed term as set out in our governing documents, which means that we periodically recruit for new Trustees. These recruitments will always appear on our website [LINK IN HERE]. If you are interested in a Trustee role, please send a CV and short personal statement detailing you're your reasons for wanting to join the Board and what you would be able to contribute to trustees@twinstrust.org to be added to our pool of interested candidates.
